JADAC’s Vision:JADAC Grounds

We specialize in new beginnings for our patients, for the community, and for the addictions field in Kentucky. We are experts in addiction treatment.  We exemplify service excellence, innovation and cost effectiveness.  We demonstrate the 12 Steps, spirituality and personal responsibility in all of our affairs.

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to provide leadership in the planning and delivery of quality, cost effective addiction services to the community.

Our Staff:

Our counseling services are provided by professional counselors and social workers trained in the field of addictions and Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselors.  Medical services are  performed by licensed physicians and nurses.  All staff, including those providing support services, consider themselves as part of the Jefferson Alcohol and Drug Abuse Center treatment team.

Ongoing staff training insures that our patients are receiving the most up-to-date, professional and caring help available.


Accreditations and Affiliations:

JADAC is a Seven Counties Services Inc., program.  Seven Counties Services, a private, non-profit community mental health system, was founded in August 1978, is chartered by the State of Kentucky, governed by a community board and by-laws, with operating policies and procedures.

JADAC is licensed by the State of Kentucky as a chemical dependency hospital and is Accreditated by The Joint Commission.

JADAC specializes in addictions treatment and is the only insurance-approved treatment program in the Louisville area which provides pure addiction services.


The privacy of patients at JADAC is protected by laws concerning confidentiality.  This means that JADAC staff cannot give out any information about any patient–even whether or not he/she is here–to anyone without the patient’s written consent.  If you call to inquire about a patient, you may be told that we cannot give you any information without a signed release of information form.  We do encourage our patients to sign releases of information for close family members.


PATHWAY TO RECOVERY: Generous Donation Paves Way for JADAC’s Tribute to Those in Recovery

Thanks to a generous donation, we have renovated of the entranceway at JADAC. The entranceway floor consists of 4”x8” bricks etched with JADAC Alumni names/recovery dates or 12 Step sayings from Alumni and/or others, which can also include names. The bricks with dates will be reserved for JADAC Alumni. You can have your own brick or sponsor one for a friend or loved one.

·         $25 for 3 lines; 16 characters per line= 48 characters total (including spaces, punctuation, numbers)

·         First name, last initial on one line and the year you were sober or utilized JADAC   services
·         Your nickname or whole name on the first line
·         Something short like “Still Sober,”  “Still Drug Free” or “Thank You”, etc. 
·         Short 12 Step saying, or buy more than one brick for a longer 12 Step saying
